Penthouse Stuttgart

Reconstruction of a Penthouse in Stuttgart.

This 180m² penthouse was gut completely. All structural walls, bathrooms and windows were removed. Before construction start, the client could find a new tenant with the help of visualisations made by designyougo.

The generous planning of the living rooms characterizes the new planning of the apartment. A large open space contains kitchen, dining and living room. Existing ventilation and water ducts were combined into a storage room. A 3m long sliding door can be used to close the kitchen from the dining area.

From the dining table a view onto the green hills and on the television tower can be enjoyed - from the living room and the terrace a magnificent panorama over the valley of Stuttgart . A fireplace was build into an existing niche of the living room.

The interior design is simple and elegant. Dark timber flooring is combined with white and grey colours. Facing frames enclose the windows on the inside. They contain the curtain racks.

The facade insulation was renewed to meet German low-energy standards. The new aluminium windows are triple glazed and can be shaded by blinds.

A new zoning was introduced to the terrace. Areas for plants are covered in white pebble.
